::My first day at my new job...

I had a good day at work today for the most part. I love that I can work at least partly independently at a fast pace so my time goes by pretty quick. I worked almost 5 hours nonstop today and It felt like 3! I think this job will show me that I can be more social if I want to be and that talking to strangers doesn’t have to be nerve-racking. I can spark up conversations; all I have to do is try!! It'll also show me that I'm more competent than I give myself credit for. It'll force me to realize what I need when it comes to the environment of a workplace. I am introverted and I don’t like to be in large groups of people for too long. Im comfortable with at most 3 people at a time. I don’t like suck ups and obnoxious people (a few at my work).. they really do drain me of energy and they make me feel uncomfortable.. they also don't seem very personable when talking to people. When it comes down to doing their job they seem to slack off more and be social.. they're not very productive as a whole. I may be wrong.. but it just seems that way to me. We do all have our own strengths!!I also don’t like the staring, judgmental types. Just because Im not way outgoing and loud doesn’t mean I can't be good at my job and be friendly and helpful to people. Not everyone wants a loud person in their face! Next week is going to be slow too like today.. at least until Thursday. Friday is the 1st of next month and I'm not looking forward to it! It'll at least give me about 5 more days to get used to the store before the chaos arrives. I hope 5 days. When I get my first pay check I really hope its at least 270 after taxes. Eventually I reallly hope I can get a job nearby so that I can cut the cost for gas to get to and back from work like 95%!! It takes me at least 45 minutes to drive to work! Even if I do get less hours at a job closer by, I’ll still probably make about the same or maybe even more with the gas difference. Oh how I hope I can get a job closer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

::The perfect pair of jeans!!

With my curvy lower half and my short stature, its almost impossible to find jeans that look good on me and that are comfortable!! Yes, I want it all! I used to wear skinny jeans in highschool, but because of how uncomfortable they are to me I refuse to wear them anymore. I cant stand the way they squeeze my calves, butt and thighs! They don't really look right on me either.. I dont get that long, lean look when I wear them like the tall, straight up and down girls do. In highschool I just tolerated them because they were the "in thing" to wear and because I cared too much about what others thought of me. Now that I've accepted my originality and my individualistic spirit, I can care less about going through the torture of wearing them just to impress anyone!! I've been on a hunt for straight legged jeans. The kind where: the area from the knee down to the ankle is wider than a skinny jean, yet slimmer than a boot cut.. sounds ideal to me!! I've noticed that most middle income retail stores like JC Penny, Tillys, and Pac Sun to name just a few only carry 3 types of jeans: Skinny, boot cut, and flared. It is so FRUSTRATING to me that every mall I leave, I'm left without a new pair of straight leg jeans!! Or any pair of jeans! Right now I only own 1 pair, and they are boot cut. I think they are comfortable, but they are wider at the bottom than I'd prefer. On me, since I'm so short, they look more like flared.

Anyways, Im dying to customize my perfect pair of straight leg jeans in which I dream of owning almost daily! I found a website called indicustom.com. Their jeans are a bit pricey, but I guess thats the price to pay to own a perfect pair of custom jeans that make you feel great because they are perfect for your body! The great thing is that the shipping is free and when you recieve them and they aren't exactly how you want them, they will do style and fit adgustments for free too! They are 100% custom to your body's needs and to your wants. You can customize: the style fit, the color rinse, the thread color, the pocket shape, the measurments specific to your body, and the leg opening style to name just a FEW! If you absolutely fall in love with your creation, you can reorder that exact pair over and over as much as you want! Technology meets fashion definitely :]

::The workout routine that changed my life.

My phylosophy to get fit: It does'nt matter how many calories or carbs you burn or how many miles you go. If you put your focus on that you'll most likely burn out after a few days. I look at exercise as a chance to work off my stress, build up my energy, and a time for relaxation or having fun. To me: a walk outside in the morning or evening on a nice day is very relaxing. A fast walk, at a slight incline, on a treadmill with my ipod is fun and energizing. Either way, I work my mucles, get my heart pumping, and increase my stamina to live life at its fullest. To build energy, you have to burn it. Thats my motto :]

*Treadmill or outside walk for 30 minutes a day minimum.
*Hand weights to tone arms.
*Sometimes a pool or a bike.
Thats all I need!

I have a naturally curvy body. My body type is pear shaped so most of my body fat tends to go to my butt, thighs, calves and hips. I wear a size 7 in jeans and a medium top. My body weight fluctuates slightly, but I'm usually the same from month to month and year to year. I like my body but without some form of daily exercise my bottom half tends to jiggle more than I like.. not to mention my arms lol. My goal is not to have a perfect body.. perfectly toned with zero cellulite.. besides.. to maintain a body like that I'd have to workout an hour a day at least and eat like a rabbit! Although I love eating healthy and exercising and doing things to help tone up my body.. perfection isn't my goal. I like my curves, and so does my husband, as long as Im pretty toned and I am full of energy to do the things I enjoy, Im satisfied. I've learned to love my body, I only have one so I have to treat it nicely so that It can thank me by keeping me healthy. That should be the goal here :]

::Burts Bees Lemon & Vitamin E Bath and body Oil Review (Simply Amazing!)

With its few, natural ingredients, sweet lemony fresh smell, and the luxurious moisturized feel it leaves I'd say this is my favorite body oil!!!  After a long soak in a bath with this stuff at night, I feel completely relaxed and rejuvinated. Im not just saying this.. It leaves my entire body feeling silky smooth and smelling like a sweet lemon pie. It only takes a few drops to give my bath a great aroma and to get these kind of results. Surprisingly, the lemon smell is really relaxing. At the same time it also slightly wakes my mind up. It's had to explain, but this is really amazing stuff. It lasts a really long time and its healthy for your skin. The first ingredient is sweet almond oil, and the second ingredient is lemon oil. Thats probably why is smells like a sweet lemon pie!

On my mission to completely restore my skin and hair back to its natural, beautiful state, I am slowly building up a collection of beauty products that are healthy, pure, very effective and healing. ::Natures Baby Organics

Not just for babies!! A few months ago I began an online search for a natural and organic face lotion that will leave my partly oily and partly dry face soft, clear, and balanced. I wanted a facial lotion that was fragrance free and gentle on my delicate skin. Something that I can use everyday, morning and night. I couldn't afford to buy anything too pricy, and I needed the lotion to last me at least 2 or 3 months before I can rebuy. Happily, I found a brand I've never heard of that sounded too good to be true. Of course I never believe that a product will do what the label says it will do until I try it for out on myself, but I was still excited to try it. I read the ingredient list of Natures Baby Organics Face & Body Moisturizer and I was very happy to see that every ingredient was truly natural, and that there were no words such as fragrance on the list. I was also almost shocked to see that the back label on this moisurtizer stated that it is: 100% Vegan. Gluten, Paraben, SLS & Propylene Glycol Free. & Hypoallergenic. I knew I had to buy it when the front label said that more than 70% of the ingredients are certified Organic. I ordered it online and I tried it right after I recieved it at my door. I ran to the bathroom, washed and dried my face, and opened the bottle. My first impression was that I was very pleased with the smell. Although it says its fragrance free, it has a light, floral, natural scent which my guess comes from the flower and plant extracts that are labled on the ingredient list. I put about a quarter size amount on my hand and found it was enough to cover my face and neck. A little goes a long way =]. After a few seconds It was completely absorbed and it left my skin feeling soft and comfortable. (Not irritated, itchy or still dry like the result of non-natural face lotions) Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My search has ended. I bought the bottle in the middle of January and its almost April and I still have more than half of the bottle left!!! I use it morning and night only on my face and neck. To this day it works the same as it did the first day, this lotion keeps my skin soft and balanced all day, everyday. You can't go wrong at 12 bucks a bottle, with an effective, healthy, & REALLY long lasting product. I know my search is done, I say you should try it =D

::My venture for attainable, down to earth beauty.

My passion for finding truly natural, organic and amazingly effective beauty products started about 4 years ago when I was just about desperate to try ANYTHING to clear my acne once and for all, heal my sensitive, scarred skin and repair my fragile, thin, frayed, & overprocessed hair! I wanted to become comfortable and beautiful in my own skin. I wanted to be in complete control of how I looked and felt from day to day, but I didnt know where to start on this journey of accomplishing this. I wanted to appear happy, carefree, polished, healthy, and naturally beautiful. I knew what didn't work for me, and I was about to give up because I thought I've tried just about everything! I've always been somewhat above average concerning looks (according to what others say), but I also have always been sort of a wallflower. No matter what people told me, I still wasn't happy with myself. I've always been a high achiever and I didn't want to settle, espeically when it came to appearence. Just coming out of my slightly awkward years of highschool and excited to have a fresh start in life, I began becoming passionate about the idea of total self-transfirmation. I learned that I first had to learn to accept what my parents gave me, my 5'4, 130 pound average frame.. my wavy, thin, and fragile hair.. my medium, olive tan skintone.. my combination, blemish prone skintype..   which I later found out was sensitive to chemicals, and easily scarred. I wanted to make the most of what nature gave me, and I new I had to take the less taken path of putting the time of researching and buying truly healthy, natural beauty products to do so. Seven years of failure was proof enough that this was absolutely necessary to fullfill my desire to reach my dream of being as pretty as I possibly can. Over the last few years, I did hours and hours of online and in store research of what our skin and hair needs to be at its full beauty potential, and what will enevitably destroy and age it overtime. Talk about scary!!!! My research has only fired up my passion for natural and healthy beauty products, and with all passions in life, it has filled me up to the point where I want to share it with others. I want every woman to know that they have their own unique, natural beauty, and if they treat it like its a precious gift, theyre beauty will not be inhibited, but naturally shine. Be proud of who you are, and be the best you that you can be. My mission is to reveal what products work amazingly for me, and what doesn't. As basic and simple as that. Life shouldnt be complicated and stressfull, it should be lived comfortably, simply, and beautifully :)
